About Global Dollar

Global Dollar (USDG) is a dollar stablecoin issued by Paxos: in Singapore under the supervision of the Monetary Authority (MAS), and in the EU under MiCA rules through a Finnish subsidiary. The reserves are dollars and short-term US government securities in segregated accounts, and USDG is promoted by the Global Dollar Network, which includes Robinhood, Kraken and other companies.

People swap USDG to move it between Ethereum, Solana and Robinhood Chain, where it is the network's main stablecoin, or to take it into their own wallet.

Paxos issues USDG itself on several networks — Ethereum, Solana, Robinhood Chain, Arbitrum, Ink, Mantle, X Layer — and moves it between them through LayerZero. The form offers Ethereum, Solana and Robinhood Chain. USDG has its own contract on each network, and tokens on different networks do not cross over: USDG sent on Solana will not appear on Ethereum.

Robinhood Chain is Robinhood's L2 built on Arbitrum, live since July 2026. It is Ethereum-compatible: addresses are the same, 0x and 42 characters, so an Ethereum address works here too and a network mistake does not show in it. Fees on Robinhood Chain are paid in ETH, and the ETH has to be on Robinhood Chain itself, not on Ethereum. If a wallet does not know the network, add it manually or use Robinhood Wallet.

On Solana an address is a string of 32–44 letters and digits. The first time a wallet receives USDG, a token account is created for it, paid by the sender in SOL; fees for later transfers are paid by the owner, also in SOL.

As a regulated issuer, Paxos can freeze an address when the law requires, and the USDG on it stop moving. An Ethereum block comes every 12 seconds, Solana and Robinhood Chain blocks in a fraction of a second. USDG needs no memo on any of these networks.

Support

No. Registration, verification and documents are not required — all you need is the wallet address the funds will arrive at.

Available networks: Robinhood Chain, Solana, Ethereum. The network is chosen in the exchange form — make sure the recipient address belongs to the same one.

An address on the network you picked in the form: for Ethereum and Robinhood Chain, a 42-character 0x address; for Solana, a Solana address. A 0x address is the same on both EVM networks, so check which one the recipient's wallet or exchange expects.

An Ethereum block comes every 12 seconds; Solana and Robinhood Chain produce blocks in a fraction of a second. With confirmations, a USDG transfer takes from a few seconds to a couple of minutes; the rest depends on the selected route.

Any coin in the catalogue — pick it in the "You receive" field. Popular Global Dollar directions are listed further down this page.

Any EVM wallet with Robinhood Chain added will do, or Robinhood Wallet. Pick Robinhood Chain in the form and enter a 0x address; to send the USDG on later, you will need a little ETH on that same network.

With the network's coin: ETH on Ethereum, ETH on Robinhood Chain and SOL on Solana. Without it, the USDG sit in the wallet but cannot be sent.

Choose the coins, networks and amount. The service compares available offers so you can select a route and enter your receiving address. Review the terms, create the exchange and send funds to the provided address on the specified network. Processing is automatic, and you can track the exchange with its code in the same interface, without registering.

Open support on the site and provide your exchange code. This lets us find the transaction, check its stage and help with a delay, an error or the terms of a possible refund. Keep your code and transfer details. No account is needed to contact us; never send private keys or a seed phrase.
