Short, because there is not much to collect. Below is the full list of what appears, what for and for how long.

Exchange data

The receiving address, the refund address and a memo if the network needs one, the pair and amounts, transaction hashes, the connecting address and the access code. Twenty-four hours after an exchange finally settles all of it is stripped automatically, leaving anonymised statistics.

Support tickets

The text of the conversation, any images you attach and whatever contact you choose to give. Leave an email or a handle and it is stored with the ticket, otherwise we cannot reply. Thirty days after a ticket is closed it is stripped and the files are deleted from disk.

Actions on the site

Pages opened and steps taken in the form are recorded against an irreversible hash of the connecting address: it tells one visitor from another and does not lead back to the address. This exists for two reasons. Support can see what happened before you wrote in, instead of making you recall it. And we can see which step people stall on, and fix that one. Kept for 24 hours.

Broad categories

Country, device type, operating system, browser with its major version and browser language. Millions of people match “Android, Chrome, English” — that is the whole point: we work with categories, not with a person.

What stays in your browser

Your exchange history and your address book are kept on your device only and never reach the server: a list of your exchanges is exactly the link that should not exist on our side. Favourite coins also live in the browser, and only an anonymous mark reaches the server — those marks add up to a popularity ranking. There is exactly one cookie, and it appears only if you wrote to support: the server uses it to recognise your conversation when you come back.

No third-party trackers

No analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party tracking scripts on the site. Your data is passed to nobody and sold to nobody.

What is in your hands

Clearing the site's data wipes your exchange history, your address book and your favourites — everything held on your side. A support ticket can be closed, and 30 days later neither its text nor its files remain. The rest expires on its own by the terms above: there is nothing for us to attach a deletion request to, since we do not know your name.
