About Rain
- Rank #19
- Networks: 1
Rain (RAIN) is the token of the Rain protocol on Arbitrum, where anyone can create a prediction market and trade on it; public markets are resolved by an AI oracle. According to the project, part of the trading volume goes to buying back and burning RAIN, and holders govern the protocol through a DAO.
Rain is bought mainly to trade on the protocol itself: under its rules, how much you can trade depends on how much RAIN sits in your wallet, so the token is needed right on your own Arbitrum address.
RAIN is an ERC20 token on Arbitrum One, a layer 2 network on top of Ethereum; contract 0x25118290e6a5f4139381d072181157035864099d. Ethereum itself has a different token with the same RAIN ticker, unrelated to the Rain protocol, so when adding it to a wallet, check both the contract and the network.
The recipient address is a 42-character EVM address starting with 0x, the same on Arbitrum, Ethereum and other EVM networks. The network cannot be told from the address: an exchange you send RAIN to must accept it on Arbitrum One specifically. Arbitrum Nova is a separate network; do not mix it up with Arbitrum One. No memo is needed.
Gas on Arbitrum is paid in ETH, but it has to be ETH on the Arbitrum network itself. ETH at the same address on Ethereum will not help: it must first be moved to Arbitrum. Without it, the RAIN that arrived cannot be sent from the wallet.
An Arbitrum block comes roughly every quarter of a second, and a transfer is confirmed within seconds. If the tokens do not show up, look up the transaction hash on Arbiscan: it shows which network and address they went to.

The receiving address must be on the same network you chose in the form. An address from another network won't work — the transfer will fail.

An Arbitrum One wallet address: it starts with 0x and is 42 characters long. The same address works on Ethereum, but the Rain protocol's RAIN lives only on Arbitrum, so the recipient must accept the token on that network.
An Arbitrum block comes roughly every quarter of a second, and a RAIN transfer is confirmed within seconds. The rest depends on the selected route.
Any coin in the catalogue — pick it in the "You receive" field. Popular Rain directions are listed further down this page.
With ETH on the Arbitrum network. ETH on Ethereum mainnet will not do, even at the same address: it has to be moved to Arbitrum first.
No, the Rain protocol's RAIN is issued on Arbitrum. The RAIN ticker on Ethereum belongs to a different asset, and tokens sent on Arbitrum will not appear on Ethereum.
Choose the coins, networks and amount. The service compares available offers so you can select a route and enter your receiving address.
