How to Withdraw from OKX in 2027 to Your Own Wallet: Steps, Fees and Locks
Withdrawing crypto from OKX to your own wallet in 2027 takes a couple of minutes: pick the coin and network, paste the address, and confirm the withdrawal with a code from your authenticator app and one from your email. Unlike Bybit, OKX won't let you withdraw at all without identity verification. Below is a walkthrough for the app and the website, network fees as of October 18, 2026, what blocks withdrawals, and where to take coins that OKX doesn't list.

What to check before you withdraw
- Verification. OKX's help center is blunt about it: you need to pass identity verification to withdraw. Without it, neither withdrawals to an external address nor internal transfers work. If your account isn't verified, start there.
- Your own wallet on the right network. The coins should go to an address whose keys you hold. If you don't have a wallet yet, first figure out how a custodial wallet differs from a non-custodial one.
- Two-factor protection. If you've linked a phone, an email and an authenticator app, a withdrawal is confirmed with the authenticator code and the code from the email. You can't turn this check off, but you can add a passkey: Face ID or a fingerprint.
- Leave your security settings alone. Changing your login password, phone, email or authenticator locks withdrawals and internal transfers for 24 hours. Linking an email or authenticator for the first time doesn't trigger the lock.
- Available balance. Coins held as margin for open positions, or sitting in Simple Earn and On-chain Earn, can't be withdrawn: close the positions or redeem the deposit. On a sub-account, move the coins to the main account first.
You don't have to move coins to the main (Funding) account in advance: OKX lets you choose the Funding or Trading account when you withdraw, and if the Funding balance falls short, the rest is taken from the Trading account.
How to withdraw from OKX in the app, step by step
- Open "Assets" (or "Portfolio") and tap "Withdraw", then "Withdraw crypto".
- Pick the coin.
- Choose "New destination" or "Saved" and specify where the coins are going: to an exchange or to a wallet. As long as the network and address are right, this choice doesn't affect the result.
- Pick the network and paste the address. If you need to swap the coin right away, this is where you paste the address that a no-KYC crypto exchange issued for your order.
- Enter the amount and use the "Select account" field to choose which account the coins come from.
- Confirm the withdrawal with your two-factor codes.
How to withdraw from OKX on the website
- Open Assets and click Withdraw.
- Pick the coin and the "on-chain address" method.
- Paste the address, choose the network and enter the amount.
- Click Next, enter the verification codes and click Confirm.
An on-chain withdrawal can be canceled while its status is "Requested" or "Pending": the coins return to your balance within a minute or two. An internal transfer to another OKX user by phone, email or UID is instant and free and can be canceled within a minute, but the coins stay on the exchange.
How much an OKX withdrawal costs and the minimum
| Coin and network | Fee | Minimum |
|---|---|---|
| BTC, Bitcoin | 0.000015 BTC | 0.0001 BTC |
| ETH, Ethereum | 0.000061 ETH | 0.002 ETH |
| ETH, Arbitrum One | 0.0000025 ETH | 0.002 ETH |
| ETH, Base | 0.0000022 ETH | 0.003 ETH |
| USDT, TRC20 | 1.5 USDT | 10 USDT |
| USDT, ERC20 | 0.3 USDT | 2 USDT |
| USDT, Solana | 0.29 USDT | 2 USDT |
| USDT, TON | 0.017 USDT | 2 USDT |
| LTC, Litecoin | 0.001 LTC | 0.02 LTC |
The figures come from the OKX fee page as of October 18, 2026, and they move with network load, so check the exact amount in the withdrawal form. USDT on BEP20 is currently missing from the OKX table, while on Polygon and Arbitrum it now goes out as USDT0.
Right now TON is the cheapest network for USDT and TRC20 the most expensive, with a 10 USDT minimum. What matters most, though, is the recipient's network: ERC20 addresses look exactly like addresses on other Ethereum networks, and a mistake costs more than any fee. We covered how to pick in our guide on which network to choose for a USDT transfer.
OKX withdrawal limits
The daily limit on OKX depends on your account's fee tier rather than your verification level. At the base tier it's $10 million a day, and VIP tiers get more. The limit resets every day at 16:00 UTC.
For large amounts, OKX added large withdrawal protection in July 2026: you set your own daily threshold between $10,000 and $10 million, and once your withdrawals reach it, the app asks you to confirm your identity with a face scan. You turn it on in Security Center, under Withdrawal security.
Address allowlist
In the security settings you can turn on the Allowlist. Withdrawals are then only possible to addresses in your address book, and you can't type in a new address manually. On top of that, you can add a 24-hour lock for every new address on the list.
If you always withdraw to the same wallet, this is the best protection there is: even if someone gets into your account, they won't be able to send the coins to their own address right away.
Why a withdrawal is stuck or fails
The statuses go in this order: "Requested", "Pending", "Withdrawing", "Completed". "Completed" means the coins have left OKX, and from there you can follow them on the blockchain by TxID.
- Queue. Requests are processed in order, so waits grow during rushes.
- Hot wallet top-up. Sometimes OKX moves coins over from cold storage: according to OKX's help page for the EEA, this can take up to 24 hours.
- Risk check. If the system considers the recipient's address high-risk, the withdrawal may be held for 48 hours.
- Fresh deposit. The amount of your latest deposit stays locked until the network reaches the required number of confirmations.
- Recent P2P purchase. After one, there's a waiting period before you can withdraw.
If a withdrawal has been sitting in "Pending" for more than an hour, contact support and check your email, including spam: OKX explains the reasons for delays by email.
Travel Rule: what you'll be asked when withdrawing
In regions where the law requires it, OKX asks during a withdrawal where the coins are going, to an exchange or a personal wallet, and for the recipient's full name. In the EEA, for withdrawals of 1,000 euros or more to your own wallet, you have to prove the wallet is yours: sign a message through WalletConnect or pass the "Satoshi test" by sending a small amount from that address. A verified address counts as yours for six months.
Does OKX work in Russia and Belarus?
As of July 8, 2026, Russia isn't on OKX's general list of restricted countries; for Russians, only fiat payment services are restricted. The exchange dropped the ruble from P2P back in August 2023, and at the same time some earning products were closed to users from Russia. In Belarus, the Ministry of Information restricted access to the OKX website in December 2025 along with Bybit and Bitget, and there has been no official word on whether the block on OKX has been lifted.
In October 2026, Bitget gave users from Russia and Belarus just a few days to withdraw, and terms for a country can change with a single update to the user agreement. If you keep savings on exchanges, it's easier to move them to your own wallet ahead of time. We've described how to do it on neighboring exchanges in our guides on how to withdraw crypto from Bybit and from Bitget.
Why keeping coins on an exchange is a risk
In February 2025, OKX's operator pleaded guilty before the US Department of Justice to operating without a money transmitting license and paid more than $504 million. In March 2025, OKX suspended the DEX aggregator in its Web3 wallet after it was used in attempts to launder funds stolen in the Bybit hack.
Neither story affected withdrawals for ordinary customers. Still, they're a reminder that an exchange lives under pressure from regulators and hackers, and coins on its balance are only its promise. Coins at your own address don't need anyone's promise.
How to get Monero, which OKX doesn't list
Monero has been gone from OKX since 2024: the exchange removed XMR pairs in January and shut withdrawals in March. Zcash, on the other hand, returned to OKX in November 2025. If you're withdrawing stablecoins and want to keep part of your savings in a privacy coin, you don't need to swap them on another exchange.
On VertEXchange, exchanges go through without registration, email or phone number. You pick a pair, paste your wallet address and see the rate and the amount you'll receive before you send anything. The address for the transfer from OKX is generated for your order, and the coins go straight to your address: the service doesn't hold them.
- A fixed rate holds for about 15 minutes while the transfer confirms.
- You can set a refund address: the coins go back there if the exchange doesn't go through.
- Personal fields of the order are deleted 24 hours after it completes, and your exchange history is stored only in your browser.
- Support chat is available on every page, and issues are resolved by exchange code.
USDT on TON is the cheapest to withdraw from OKX, and from there it's easy to exchange USDT TON to Monero without registration right away, while ETH holders may prefer an ETH to XMR exchange.
FAQ
Can you withdraw from OKX without verification in 2027?
No. According to OKX's help center, you need to pass identity verification to withdraw. Without it, neither external withdrawals nor internal transfers are available.
Why is my OKX withdrawal locked for 24 hours?
That's the protection that kicks in after you change your login password, phone, email or authenticator. After 24 hours, withdrawals reopen on their own. Linking an email or authenticator for the first time doesn't trigger the lock.
Which network should I choose to withdraw USDT from OKX?
The one the recipient's address is on. By fee, TON is the cheapest, followed by Solana and ERC20, while TRC20 is the most expensive and has a 10 USDT minimum.
How much can I withdraw from OKX per day?
At the base fee tier, up to $10 million a day, and VIP tiers get more. The limit resets daily at 16:00 UTC.
Does OKX have Monero?
No, XMR was removed in 2024. To get Monero, withdraw USDT or ether and exchange it with the payout sent straight to your own address.
Do I need to move coins to the main account before withdrawing?
Not necessarily. OKX lets you choose the Funding or Trading account when you withdraw and takes any shortfall from the Trading account.
No email, no account: enter your wallet address, send your coins and get the new ones straight to it.
