About Chainlink
- Rank #16
- Networks: 12
Chainlink (LINK) is the token of the Chainlink oracle network, which feeds outside data to smart contracts: asset prices, event outcomes, messages between blockchains. LINK pays node operators for that work and is staked as a bond for their honesty. The token was issued on Ethereum in 2017.
LINK has spread across many networks, and a swap is most often used to move it from one to another — for example, from Arbitrum to Ethereum without the week-long wait of the official L2 bridge.
On Ethereum, LINK is an ERC-677 token, an extension of ERC-20, at contract 0x514910771af9ca656af840dff83e8264ecf986ca. On other networks LINK is a separate token with its own contract: on Arbitrum and Optimism it came over those networks' bridges, on Avalanche it is called LINK.e, and on BNB Smart Chain the Binance-Peg version circulates. LINK sent on one network will not show up on another, so the network in the form must match the recipient's wallet.
On BNB Smart Chain and Polygon, LINK has two contracts each. The bridged token (Binance-Peg on BNB Smart Chain, the Polygon PoS bridge token on Polygon) is a plain ERC-20, while Chainlink services need the ERC-677 version; Chainlink's PegSwap converts between them 1:1. A wallet may show both simply as LINK — before sending, check by contract which one you hold and which one the recipient expects.
Almost all networks on the list are EVM-compatible: the address starts with 0x, is 42 characters long, and the same address works on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche C-Chain and BNB Smart Chain. Aptos is the exception: its addresses also start with 0x, but 64 hexadecimal characters follow the prefix. An Aptos address does not work on an EVM network, and an EVM address does not work on Aptos.
The fee for a LINK transfer is paid in the network's coin, not in LINK: ETH on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism and Base, POL on Polygon, AVAX on Avalanche, BNB on BNB Smart Chain, APT on Aptos. An Ethereum block comes every 12 seconds; on the other listed networks blocks take seconds or less. Withdrawing LINK from Arbitrum or Optimism to Ethereum through the official bridge takes about a week: that is the challenge period built into these L2s.
How to exchange Chainlink
- 1
Pick Chainlink (LINK) in the "You send" field and enter an amount.
- 2
Choose the coin and network you want to receive. The rate is calculated automatically.
- 3
Enter the recipient's wallet address. No email, no phone, no documents.
- 4
Press "Exchange" and send Chainlink to the address you get.
- 5
After the route is confirmed, funds are sent to the address you provided; timing depends on the provider and network.
- 6
Keep the exchange code in case you need to check the status or contact support.
Chainlink networks
The receiving address must be on the same network you chose in the form. An address from another network won't work — the transfer will fail.

SupportNo. Registration, verification and documents are not required — all you need is the wallet address the funds will arrive at.
Available networks: Fantom, Base, Hedera, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche C-Chain, Aptos, NEAR Protocol, Ethereum, Solana, BNB Smart Chain. The network is chosen in the exchange form — make sure the recipient address belongs to the same one.
A wallet address on the network you picked in the form. For Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche and BNB Smart Chain it is a 42-character address starting with 0x; for Aptos, a 66-character address starting with 0x. If the form is set to another network, you need an address on that network.
An Ethereum block comes every 12 seconds, and recipients usually wait for a dozen or more confirmations — a few minutes. On L2s, Polygon, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain and Aptos, blocks take seconds or less. The rest depends on the selected route.
Any coin in the catalogue — pick it in the "You receive" field. Popular Chainlink directions are listed further down this page.
On BNB Smart Chain and Polygon there is a bridged ERC-20 LINK and an ERC-677 LINK for Chainlink services. They are different contracts; both transfer the same way and convert into each other through Chainlink PegSwap. Send the recipient the version they expect.
The wallet holds no network coin for the fee. A LINK transfer is paid in ETH on Ethereum and the L2s, in POL on Polygon, in AVAX on Avalanche, in BNB on BNB Smart Chain and in APT on Aptos.
Choose the coins, networks and amount. The service compares available offers so you can select a route and enter your receiving address. Review the terms, create the exchange and send funds to the provided address on the specified network. Processing is automatic, and you can track the exchange with its code in the same interface, without registering.
Open support on the site and provide your exchange code. This lets us find the transaction, check its stage and help with a delay, an error or the terms of a possible refund. Keep your code and transfer details. No account is needed to contact us; never send private keys or a seed phrase.
