Ethereum (ETH) is a smart contract blockchain, and ether is its native coin: it pays the fee (gas) for every transfer and contract call. The same coin is also the gas on layer-2 networks — Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, zkSync, Linea.

Ether is most often swapped to get gas into a wallet holding ERC20 tokens, or to move ETH from Arbitrum or Base to mainnet without waiting a week for a withdrawal through the official bridge.

An Ethereum address is 0x followed by 40 hexadecimal characters, 42 in total. Letter case does not matter: an all-lowercase address and a mixed-case one are the same, the mixed case is only a checksum against typos (EIP-55). Wallets understand name.eth (ENS) names, but paste the 0x address itself into the exchange form.

That same address works on every EVM network: Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, zkSync, Linea, BNB Smart Chain. The balances are separate, though: ETH sent on Arbitrum stays on Arbitrum and does not show up on Ethereum mainnet. So in the form, pick the network the recipient expects. If the network was mixed up when sending to your own regular wallet, the coins can be reached with the same key on the other network; if the address belongs to an exchange, only its support can return them, and not always. A smart contract wallet, such as a Safe multisig, may not exist at all at the same address on another network.

Starknet, Aptos and NEAR use different addresses. On Starknet and Aptos they also start with 0x but are longer — up to 64 characters after the prefix; on NEAR it is an account name like name.near or a 64-character string without 0x. ETH there is a bridged token and needs an address on the selected network.

Fees on Ethereum and its L2s are paid in ETH. Without ether in the wallet you cannot send USDT or any other ERC20 token — the most common reason for "stuck" tokens. The fee depends on network load; on L2s it is usually many times lower.

An Ethereum slot lasts 12 seconds, and a transfer with a normal fee lands in a block within one or two slots. A transaction becomes final (finalized) after two epochs — about 13 minutes; recipients usually credit ETH sooner, after a few confirmations. On L2s blocks come within seconds. An ETH transfer needs no memo.

How to exchange

How to exchange Ethereum

  1. 1

Pick Ethereum (ETH) in the "You send" field and enter an amount.

  2. 2

Choose the coin and network you want to receive. The rate is calculated automatically.

  3. 3

Enter the recipient's wallet address. No email, no phone, no documents.

  4. 4

Press "Exchange" and send Ethereum to the address you get.

  5. 5

After the route is confirmed, funds are sent to the address you provided; timing depends on the provider and network.

  6. 6

Keep the exchange code in case you need to check the status or contact support.

Networks

Ethereum networks

The receiving address must be on the same network you chose in the form. An address from another network won't work — the transfer will fail.

Support

No. Registration, verification and documents are not required — all you need is the wallet address the funds will arrive at.

Available networks: Ethereum, NEAR Protocol, Aptos, Arbitrum, Starknet, zkSync, BNB Smart Chain, Optimism, Base, Linea, Manta Pacific, Robinhood Chain. The network is chosen in the exchange form — make sure the recipient address belongs to the same one.

An Ethereum address: 0x and 40 hexadecimal characters. The same address fits Arbitrum, Optimism, Base and other EVM networks, so check that the form is set to the network the recipient's wallet or exchange expects. For Starknet, Aptos or NEAR you need an address on that network.

An Ethereum slot is 12 seconds, and recipients usually wait for a few confirmations — that is, minutes; full finalization comes after about 13 minutes. On L2s blocks come within seconds. The rest depends on the selected route.

Any coin in the catalogue — pick it in the "You receive" field. Popular Ethereum directions are listed further down this page.

If the address is your own regular wallet, switch the network in it: the coins are there, at the same address. If it is an exchange address and the exchange does not support that network, only its support can return the funds.

Every transfer on Ethereum and its L2s is paid for with gas in ETH. If the wallet holds only tokens, top it up with a little ether on the same network: ETH on Arbitrum for Arbitrum, ETH on Ethereum for mainnet.

Choose the coins, networks and amount. The service compares available offers so you can select a route and enter your receiving address. Review the terms, create the exchange and send funds to the provided address on the specified network. Processing is automatic, and you can track the exchange with its code in the same interface, without registering.

Open support on the site and provide your exchange code. This lets us find the transaction, check its stage and help with a delay, an error or the terms of a possible refund. Keep your code and transfer details. No account is needed to contact us; never send private keys or a seed phrase.
