XRP is the coin of the XRP Ledger, a blockchain built for fast payments; much of its development is led by the company Ripple, and the coin is often called by that name. A ledger closes every 3–5 seconds, and the small fee on each transaction is burned.

XRP is often used as a transit coin between exchanges and wallets: a transfer on the XRP Ledger is final within seconds, and its fee is a tiny fraction of one XRP.

A standard XRP Ledger address starts with r and consists of 25–35 Latin letters and digits; it is case-sensitive. You may also see an X-address, starting with X: it packs the address and the recipient's tag together, so no separate tag is needed.

Exchanges receive XRP at a shared address and tell users apart by the destination tag, a number of up to 10 digits. A tag is required for exchange deposits: without it the transfer reaches the exchange but not your account, and only its support can recover it. A personal wallet needs no tag.

An XRP Ledger account comes into existence only after a first transfer of at least the base reserve, currently 1 XRP. The network rejects a smaller transfer to a new address. The reserve stays on the account and cannot be sent, and each trustline to a token or open order adds another 0.2 XRP. The reserve used to be higher, so older guides may mention 10 or 20 XRP.

A ledger closes every 3–5 seconds, and a transaction in a closed ledger is final: there are no confirmations to wait for. The fee is usually 0.00001 XRP; it is paid in XRP and burned.

XRP also exists as a token on Starknet and Aptos — these networks are listed further down the page. Addresses there start with 0x and have up to 64 hex characters, fees are paid in STRK or APT, and no tag is needed. An r address does not work for them.

The receiving address must be on the same network you chose in the form. An address from another network won't work — the transfer will fail.

Your XRP Ledger wallet address starting with r. When receiving to an exchange, you also need the destination tag from its instructions — or an X-address that already contains the tag. If the form is set to Starknet or Aptos, you need a 0x wallet address on that network.

An XRP Ledger ledger closes every 3–5 seconds, and a transfer is final right away: the XRP transfer itself takes seconds. The rest depends on the selected route.

Any coin in the catalogue — pick it in the "You receive" field. Popular XRP directions are listed further down this page.

The transfer reaches the exchange's shared address but is not linked to your account. Only the exchange's support can recover it, using the transaction hash.

A new XRP Ledger account is created only by a transfer of at least the base reserve, 1 XRP. The network rejects a smaller transfer to an address that has not been activated yet.

Choose the coins, networks and amount. The service compares available offers so you can select a route and enter your receiving address. Review the terms, create the exchange and send funds to the provided address on the specified network. Processing is automatic, and you can track the exchange with its code in the same interface, without registering.

Open support on the site and provide your exchange code. This lets us find the transaction, check its stage and help with a delay, an error or the terms of a possible refund. Keep your code and transfer details. No account is needed to contact us; never send private keys or a seed phrase.
