About Ethena USDe

Ethena USDe is the synthetic dollar of the Ethena protocol. There are no bank reserves behind it: the backing is bitcoin, ether, their staked versions and liquid stablecoins, while short futures positions offset swings in the crypto collateral's price — a setup known as delta-neutral.

Only approved firms can mint and redeem USDe directly with Ethena, so everyone else gets in and out of it by swapping — including to move it between Ethereum, L2s, Solana and TON.

Each USDe is matched by collateral and a short perpetual futures position of the same size: when the crypto price falls, the position gains what the collateral loses. Minting and redeeming 1:1 is open only to vetted participants, and their arbitrage pulls the price back to a dollar. Everyone else buys and sells USDe on the market, so in sharp moves its price on individual venues can briefly drift from a dollar.

The USDe contract has no function to freeze addresses; restrictions on individual wallets exist only for sUSDe. sUSDe is a different token: USDe staked with Ethena, whose value grows with protocol income. Unstaking back to USDe comes only after a cooldown, which Ethena currently sets at 1 to 7 days — a swap needs USDe itself.

USDe's home network is Ethereum. On Base and Arbitrum it moves through LayerZero and has one shared contract address, different from Ethereum's. The 42-character 0x recipient address is the same on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and BNB Smart Chain, so it does not reveal the network. On Solana an address is a string of 32–44 letters and digits; on TON it has 48 characters and usually starts with UQ or EQ.

On TON, USDe is a jetton, and every action with it is paid for in the network's coin, renamed Gram in 2026 (formerly Toncoin). Without it, USDe sits in a new wallet but cannot be sent. Exchanges often ask for a comment (memo) on TON deposits. On other networks the fee is paid in ETH (Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum), BNB or SOL.

Support

No. Registration, verification and documents are not required — all you need is the wallet address the funds will arrive at.

Available networks: TON, Base, Avalanche C-Chain, Optimism, Arbitrum, Robinhood Chain, Aptos, Ethereum, Solana, BNB Smart Chain. The network is chosen in the exchange form — make sure the recipient address belongs to the same one.

An address on the network you picked in the form: for Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and BNB Smart Chain, a 0x address; for Solana, a Solana address; for TON, a TON address starting with UQ or EQ. A 0x address is the same on every EVM network, so check which network the recipient's wallet or exchange expects.

An Ethereum block comes every 12 seconds; Base, Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain, Solana and TON produce blocks within a second or two or faster. With confirmations, a USDe transfer takes from a few seconds to a few minutes; the rest depends on the selected route.

Any coin in the catalogue — pick it in the "You receive" field. Popular Ethena USDe directions are listed further down this page.

sUSDe is USDe staked with Ethena: it is worth more than one USDe, its value keeps growing, and unstaking back to USDe takes 1 to 7 days. Wallets and exchanges treat them as different tokens, and a swap needs USDe.

Not for a personal wallet. A comment (memo) is needed only if the recipient asks for it, usually an exchange on deposit. The sending wallet needs a little Gram for the fee.

Choose the coins, networks and amount. The service compares available offers so you can select a route and enter your receiving address. Review the terms, create the exchange and send funds to the provided address on the specified network. Processing is automatic, and you can track the exchange with its code in the same interface, without registering.

Open support on the site and provide your exchange code. This lets us find the transaction, check its stage and help with a delay, an error or the terms of a possible refund. Keep your code and transfer details. No account is needed to contact us; never send private keys or a seed phrase.
